Account Features

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS TO REDUCE OR ELIMINATE THE MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE

Pay no Monthly Service Charge when you meet one of the following requirements each statement cycle:

  • Maintaining an average monthly balance of $2,000.00 OR
  • Maintaining a combined average daily balance of $3,000.00 in linked accounts. Combined balance includes the average daily balance in eligible consumer checking, savings accounts and/or money market accounts (excludes additional Active Club Checking accounts, Advantage Club Checking accounts, CDs, IRAs) as of the end of the Active Club statement cycle. Accounts are automatically linked based on account ownership information determined by the Bank
  • Once the primary account owner reaches the age of 55 or greater

OR Reduce Monthly Service Charge by the following discount:

  • $3.00 for 15 posted POS purchases using your FGB Debit MasterCard per statement cycle
  • $3.00 for a single posted electronic direct deposit
  • $3.00 for each statement cycle where no paper statements are delivered and the monthly statement is delivered electronically via e-statements

The discount can reduce or eliminate your monthly Service Charge. The calculation of fees and discounts is performed during each monthly statement cycle based on based on balances and activity posted during that cycle. If the discounts exceed the fees for any period, you will be assessed no fee, but you will not be paid, carry forward or otherwise receive credit for any excess discounts.
